In the field of iron oxide pigments our Inorganic Pigments (IPG) Business Unit runs the largest production facility in the world. And it's still growing – and for well over 80 years.
The product and its many possible applications: iron oxide helps in the protection of the worldwide water supply since Bayoside®* E 33, for example, makes it possible to remove arsenic safely and economically from drinking water.
Iron oxide also brings colour into your world. The intense, light-stable and environmentally friendly colours of Bayferrox®* pigments from LANXESS are used to colour concrete roofing tiles, paving, prefabricated parts or make up an integral part of many lacquers and plastics. The brand Bayferrox®* was registered over 30 years ago and from time to time we ask ourselves what the world would look like today without our colours.
