Supervisory Board

The Supervisory Board provides advice to the Board of Management and oversees the conduct of the business. To perform these tasks, the Supervisory Board works closely together with the Board of Management.
Pursuant to the German Co-Determination Act of 1976, the Supervisory Board of LANXESS AG consists of 16 members, of whom 8 represent the stockholders and 8 represent the employees. The stockholder representatives were elected by an Extraordinary Stockholders' Meeting of LANXESS AG, while the employee representatives were appointed by the Cologne Local Court. The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of LANXESS AG is Dr. Rolf Stomberg.
