Scopeblue Additin®
LANXESS is increasingly turning to circular and biobased raw materials as our products are key to more sustainability. The brand label Scopeblue identifies products that either consist of at least 50 percent circular (recycled or biobased) raw materials, or a carbon footprint that is at least 50 percent less than conventional products.
Representing a more environmentally friendly innovation, the raw materials that go into the Scopeblue Additin® products are organic or recycled, manufactured by sulfurization of natural, locally sourced renewable raw materials.
The Scopeblue Additin® products have low or no impact on the environment and show no health hazards. They meet the requirements of the LuSC (“Lubricant Substance Classification”) list - the prime reference for formulators of lubricants attended to apply for the EU Ecolabel. EU Ecolabel lubricants are more eco-friendly alternatives to conventional lubricants, aiming to decrease the negative impact of these products on our biodiversity, through respecting a wide scope of environmental criteria.
