Plasticizers ensure elasticity and flexibility of polymer materials. But this is not their only benefit. Plasticizers also optimize, for example, the processing properties of polymer materials, which leads to improved product quality or even new properties. The choice of plasticizers depends on the demand placed on the finished product. These can include greater softness, elasticity, adhesion, flame retardant properties or resistance to chemicals, weathering and migration.
Mesamoll® a non-phthalate, general purpose plasticizer which offers a good combination of processing, plasticizing efficiency and service life in many types of polymers including PVC, polyurethanes, acrylates and rubber. Mesamoll® II is listed for use in food contact application.

K-FLEX® plasticizers and coalescents are known for their excellent value and balance of performance properties. They are non-phthalate, low in VOCs, and have positive attributes from a product safety and health perspective compared to other choices. In particular as coalescents, important properties of coatings such as scrub resistance, gloss while mainting and low dirt pick-up can be improved.
